At Crown House Dental Practice, we work to make even nervous patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident when visiting us here.

At Crown House Dental Practice, we understand, that for many patients, visiting the dentist can be a nerve-wracking and anxiety-inducing experience. Feeling nervous about a particular dental treatment is extremely common – probably more common than you think – and many patients of all different ages experience dentophobia or fear of the dentist.

Our aim here is to reduce our nervous patients’ anxiety and fear wherever possible. That’s why we’ve worked so hard to create a relaxing environment that feels immediately warm and welcoming. We’re also determined to help our patients feel confident and in control when it comes to their dental health. We’ll talk over any queries, questions, or worries you may have and will be able to pass on any information or knowledge you want. Some patients feel more confident when our dentists talk through everything they’re doing, for example – but if you’d prefer to block out the experience by listening to music or a podcast, then you’re welcome to do that too.

We know that some patients put off going to the dentist for years because they’re so worried about the experience. But this can detrimentally affect their health and smile, and leave them in need of more intervention treatments than would otherwise be unnecessary. This is what makes preventative care so important, and we believe that by combining our gentle, compassionate, and sensitive attitude with our preventative care measures, we can have even our most nervous patients feeling confident about their dental health and smile.
